E-Stop Explained – Theme Park Definition
An E-Stop (Emergency Stop) is a safety mechanism or procedure that immediately cuts power or applies brakes to halt all ride movement. It can be triggered automatically by sensors or manually by operators. After an E-Stop, the ride must usually be inspected and reset before resuming service.
