Floorless Coaster Explained – Theme Park Definition
Steel coaster where the floor retracts so riders' feet dangle freely.
Coasters
On a floorless coaster, the car floor drops away after riders are secured, leaving legs dangling above the track. Unlike inverted coasters, the track runs beneath the car rather than above. B&M pioneered the type with Medusa (Six Flags Great Adventure, 1999). Examples in Europe include Goliath (Walibi Holland).
