Omnimover Explained – Theme Park Definition
The Omnimover is a ride system developed by Disney that features a continuous loop of vehicles. Because the vehicles never stop moving, the system has a very high capacity. A key feature is the ability for the vehicles to rotate, pointing guests exactly toward the scene the designers want them to see. Famous examples include The Haunted Mansion and Spaceship Earth. Other manufacturers have since developed similar continuous-chain systems.
