Park Hopper Explained – Theme Park Definition

A Park Hopper ticket allows entry to two or more parks operated by the same resort on a single day. Disney's Park Hopper option, for example, lets guests switch between Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom after 2 PM. Universal Orlando offers a two- or three-park ticket covering Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe. In Europe, PortAventura World offers a combined ticket for PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land.

Hopping is most worthwhile when a specific attraction you want exists only in a second park, when you want to combine a morning in one park with a dinner or evening show in another, or on shorter trips where seeing highlights across multiple parks is a priority. The cost premium over a single-park ticket varies by resort and is usually higher on peak days with dynamic pricing.
