Coaster Elements
Stall Explained – Theme Park Definition
Also known as: RMC stall · hangtime element
A stall (also called a zero-G stall) is an element where the coaster train travels into an inversion at the apex and momentarily slows almost to a stop, leaving riders hanging upside-down. Pioneered by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), the element delivers prolonged hangtime. Famous examples appear on Zadra (Energylandia) and Steel Vengeance (Cedar Point).
