ERT
Exclusive Ride Time — private access to one or more attractions for a small group, with no general public queue.
Planning
ERT (Exclusive Ride Time) is a period during which a selected group — typically members of a coaster enthusiast club, resort hotel guests with premium packages, or season pass holders at special events — have exclusive access to a ride or set of rides with the general public excluded. During ERT, participants can ride repeatedly with minimal waiting, often achieving dozens of rides in a single session that would take multiple full park days in normal operation.
ERT events are organised by parks for club meetups (European Coaster Club, American Coaster Enthusiasts, and dozens of national organisations worldwide), for premium resort hotel packages offering before-hours or after-hours ride access, or as part of hard ticket events. For coaster enthusiasts, ERT is among the most prized theme park experiences — riding a coaster 15 or 20 times in succession, in different row positions, at different times of day, reveals its true character and nuances in a way that a single ride in a full-day crowd simply cannot.
