Manufacturers
S&S Worldwide (founded 1994, Logan, Utah; acquired by Sansei Technologies in 2012) originally developed pneumatic drop tower systems — the Space Shot and Turbo Drop — before expanding into coasters. Their El Loco model is a compact extreme coaster featuring a beyond-vertical first drop and inversion, delivering significant thrills within a very small footprint. The Free Fly is a 4D-style coaster where the seat pivots freely to flip riders at key moments.
S&S also acquired the assets of the historic Arrow Dynamics after its 2001 bankruptcy, establishing a lineage connection to some of the most significant coasters in the industry. In Europe, S&S installations are less common than in North America, though the company's air-launch technology has influenced broader industry development.
