A German manufacturer best known for the Euro-Fighter model with its beyond-vertical first drop, plus spinning coasters and compact family rides.

Coasters

Gerstlauer Amusement Rides GmbH is a German roller coaster manufacturer based in Münsterhausen, Bavaria. Founded in 1946 as a metalworking company, it entered the amusement ride market in the 1980s and built its global reputation with the Euro-Fighter model — a compact, electric-launch coaster famous for its beyond-vertical (up to 97-degree) first drop. Euro-Fighters can be installed in very tight spaces, making them attractive for urban parks and smaller venues. European examples include Saw – The Ride at Thorpe Park and Rage at Adventure Island.

Gerstlauer also produces the Infinity Coaster model, spinning coasters, and the SkyRoller — a coaster where riders control their own wing rotation, flipping themselves independently. In the enthusiast community, Gerstlauer rides are valued for packing significant intensity into small footprints. The company occupies an interesting market position between the large-scale ambitions of B&M and Intamin and the compact value of older Vekoma models.
