Zamperla Explained – Theme Park Definition
Zamperla (founded 1966, Altavilla Vicentina, Italy) is one of the world's most prolific amusement ride manufacturers. Where Intamin, B&M, and Mack target large-scale thrill installations, Zamperla focuses on volume and accessibility — their Family Coaster, Mini Coaster, Twister, and Disk'O Coaster models are staples of smaller parks, resort midways, and seasonal attractions worldwide.
Compact footprints and modest height requirements make Zamperla rides especially common in European city parks, holiday resorts, and indoor facilities. The company also built Thunderbolt at Coney Island (New York), demonstrating their ability to scale up when required. Walt Disney Parks & Resorts has used Zamperla attractions across multiple properties.
